Welcome to Rugezi! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our professional cleaning services. By engaging our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms. Please read them carefully before booking any services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, booking our cleaning services, or entering into a service agreement with Rugezi, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

These terms apply to all clients, visitors, and users of our cleaning services, whether residential or commercial. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Service Description

Rugezi provides professional cleaning services including but not limited to:

  • Residential Cleaning: Regular house cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning
  • Commercial Cleaning: Office cleaning, retail space maintenance, industrial cleaning
  • Specialized Services: Carpet cleaning, window cleaning, post-construction cleaning
  • Emergency Cleaning: Same-day and urgent cleaning services subject to availability

All services are performed by trained and insured professionals. Specific service details, scope, and pricing will be outlined in individual service agreements or quotes provided to clients.

3. Booking and Scheduling

Clients may book services through our website, by phone at +44 20 7946 0958, or via email at [email protected]. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by Rugezi.

We require at least 24 hours' notice for standard bookings and 48 hours for specialized or large-scale cleaning projects. Rush services may be available for an additional fee.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before scheduled service: No charge
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before scheduled service: 50% of service fee
  • No-shows or same-day cancellations: Full service fee charged

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and are subject to VAT where applicable. Pricing is based on the scope of work, property size, frequency of service, and any special requirements.

Payment Terms:

  • One-time services: Payment due upon completion of service
  • Recurring services: Payment due within 7 days of invoice date
  • Commercial contracts: Payment terms as specified in individual agreements
  • Accepted payment methods: Credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and approved business accounts

Late payments may incur a fee of 5% per month. Services may be suspended for accounts with overdue balances exceeding 30 days.

5. Client Responsibilities

To ensure efficient and effective service delivery, clients agree to:

  • Provide safe and unobstructed access to all areas requiring cleaning
  • Secure or remove valuable, fragile, or irreplaceable items before service
  • Inform us of any hazardous materials, pest infestations, or safety concerns
  • Provide adequate utilities (water, electricity) necessary for cleaning
  • Ensure pets are secured in a separate area during service
  • Notify us of any specific cleaning products to be used or avoided due to allergies or preferences

Failure to provide adequate access or safe working conditions may result in service cancellation with applicable fees.

6. Liability and Insurance

Rugezi maintains comprehensive liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage for all employees. We take utmost care in delivering our services; however, our liability is limited as follows:

  • We are not liable for damage to items that are already worn, damaged, or improperly maintained
  • Claims for damage must be reported within 24 hours of service completion
  • Our maximum liability for any single incident is limited to £500 or the cost of repair/replacement, whichever is lower
  • We are not responsible for loss or damage to cash, jewelry, art, antiques, or other valuables left unsecured

Clients are encouraged to maintain their own property insurance. Any claims must be submitted in writing to [email protected] with photographic evidence and detailed description.

7. Satisfaction Guarantee

We are committed to delivering exceptional cleaning services. If you are not satisfied with our work, please contact us within 24 hours of service completion. We will return to re-clean any areas of concern at no additional charge.

This guarantee applies only to the initial service and does not extend to subsequent re-cleaning visits. Specific concerns must be clearly communicated to allow us to address them appropriately.

8. Privacy and Confidentiality

Rugezi respects your privacy and maintains strict confidentiality regarding all client information. Our employees are trained to respect your privacy and property. We collect and process personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

Client information is used solely for service delivery, billing, and communication purposes. We do not share, sell, or disclose client information to third parties except as required by law or with explicit consent.

9. Termination of Services

Either party may terminate recurring service agreements with 14 days' written notice. Rugezi reserves the right to terminate services immediately in cases of:

  • Non-payment or repeated late payments
  • Unsafe working conditions
  • Abusive or threatening behavior toward staff
  • Violation of these Terms and Conditions

Upon termination, clients remain responsible for payment of all services rendered up to the termination date.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
